Alexander O. Wassermann has been appointed as general manager of the InterContinental Qingdao.
Wassermann, a German national, gained his operational hotel experience in luxury hotels in the USA, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Prior to joining InterContinental Qingdao, he held the post of hotel manager of InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong. Prior to joining IHG he had worked more than five years for Movenpick Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East and Hilton International in Greater China and Japan.
