The BARDE (Beijing Association of Rooms Division Executives) meeting for June 2004 has been scheduled for June 23, 2004 at the Minzu Hotel.

BARDE is an association open to all Rooms Division Professionals of reputable hotels in Beijing and gathers on a monthly basis to discuss common issues and challenges concerning hotel trade and exchange valuable information.

Since each meeting is held at a different property, the host hotel usually provides a tour of their guestrooms and other Rooms related areas. This is most beneficial to the members as they may recognize areas for improvement at their own properties. Members make a concerted effort to attend the monthly gathering as they realize the potential benefits of these meetings. Also BARDE compiles a weekly Inter-Hotel Comparison report that is distributed to all its members. This document assists the individual member to gauge their performance against the rest of the market.

At the moment there are 74 member hotels in the association. BARDE has also been officially accepted as branch association which under the Beijing Tourism Industry Association Hotel Branch this month, the establish ceremony was successful held in 18th May 2004 Beijing.
