Hospitality Marketing Concepts (HMC), the world's leading provider of travel industry membership and database management programs, has signed a memorandum of understanding with InterContinental Hotels Group China as the exclusive corporate operator of its Priority Privilege program.

Priority Privilege is a membership program which offers participants immediate accommodation and dining savings plus extra benefits on hotel amenities at more than 40 InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels in China. Being a part of the global loyalty program — Priority Club Rewards, Priority Privilege members have extensive opportunities to earn reward points at the 3,500 InterContinental Hotels Group hotels worldwide as well.

Priority Privilege members save money each time they patronize a participating hotel, and there is no usage limit for the duration of the 12-month membership. Not only does a member dine free when accompanied by one or more paying guests, Priority Privilege comes with generous dining vouchers which easily surpasses the cost of the membership. For members who travel, a 10% discount is offered to Priority Privilege members on Corporate Flex Room Rate, 5 days advance booking, and 14 day advance purchase rate at all participating hotels throughout China and the entire Asia-Pacific region and the opportunity to earn points through Priority Club Rewards which can be used to redeem for free room nights, retail vouchers and much more.

We want to capture significant volume of domestic travel within the country by growing the Priority Privilege program, said Lo Young, Regional Director of Marketing for North Asia, InterContinental Hotels Group. Our goal is to establish ourselves as the hotel company which offers great value to both business and leisure travelers in China, and Priority Privilege is the perfect vehicle to help us reach our objectives.

After serious consideration, we have chosen to partner with HMC to expand Priority Privilege, said Bruce McKenzie, Regional Director of Operations for China, InterContinental Hotels Group. HMC has over 10 years of proven success in China. They have the expertise, resources and service approach that we believe will bring Priority Privilege to the top of its class.

We see great potential in Priority Privilege and we have been working closely with InterContinental Hotels Group to develop and fine tune program offerings, said Mokhtar Ramadan, CEO of Hospitality Marketing Concepts. InterContinental Hotels Group has properties in 34 major cities in China. Priority Privilege members can realize tremendous savings from this extensive coverage and in turn, the hotels will benefit from a sizeable membership base that will prefer the InterContinental Hotels brands during their travels. HMC is here to facilitate a win-win relationship between InterContinental Hotels Group and consumers, and that is always a rewarding experience.
