China will host the first International Stewardess Beauty Pageant in early November in Zhuhai in south China's Guangdong Province, the organisers announced today.

The sideline event of the one-week Fifth China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition (CIAAE) is scheduled to open on November one, deputy manager of the Zhuhai Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition Company, Dong Taijin said.  The pageant has so far attracted most of domestic airways and more than 20 foreign airline companies.

Dong said the event was designed to serve as a platform for showcasing the culture and specialties of aviation firms around the world.  The organising committee has prepared 16 prizes for best professional skills, best company image, best language, best image and beautiful angel, among others.
