In the past, passengers would most likely miss their flights if they were delayed in getting to the airport or getting off their connecting flight, but this looks set to change.

This year, in order to provide a more convenient experience for passengers facing this situation, China Eastern will establish a special counter during the National Holiday period for passengers who are late for their flights. Passengers will no longer need to wait in queues, but instead can go through the special counter directly so long as they arrive 30 minutes before the flight departs.
