Lufthansa plans to increase by 50% its number of flights to China by 2007, the airline's chairman, Wolfgang Mayrhuber, said in an interview published in Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.
Lufthansa, the European airline with the most connections between Europe and China, wants to increase its weekly flights there to about 60, he told the weekly newspaper. He also said the carrier planned to raise the number of passenger flights to India by about 60%.
