The Renaissance Suzhou Hotel has just opened and it is the eighth Renaissance hotel to open in China. The 380-room Renaissance Suzhou Hotel operates under a management agreement with Suzhou Nison Hotel International Investment Co., Ltd.

The general manager is Sammy Ng; the director of marketing is David Guo.

The hotel is offering a special opening rate of US$80 plus a 15 percent surcharge for a deluxe room. This rate is valid until April 30, 2005.

The Renaissance Suzhou Hotel is located approximately 120 kilometers from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and 80 kilometers from Hongqiao International Airport. The new hotel stands on the edge of downtown and Suzhou Industrial Park, a bustling business community near the center of the city.

For dining, the Renaissance Suzhou Hotel will offer the Renaissance Brasserie restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as a lobby bar and lounge. For an authentic Cantonese meal, guests can dine at the Wan Li restaurant. The hotel also offers 24-hour room service.

For business travelers the hotel offers an executive level and lounge, as well as a full business center. Recreational amenities include a state-of-the-art fitness center.

In-room amenities include a large well-lit work desk, dual telephone lines with speaker and voice mail, cable/satellite television, complimentary in-room coffee, ironing board and in-room safe.

For meetings, the Renaissance Suzhou Hotel offers 11 meeting rooms and 900 square meters of total meeting space.
