Both Uzbekistan and China are important countries on the ancient Silkroad, and now there is an even better way to travel between the two countries.
As a part of the project for the reconstruction of the Silkroad, Uzbekistan Airways will open an flights to China. The flight will start on March 9, from Tashkent to Shanghai (will arrive in Shanghai at 8:30pm), then flies to Beijing at 9:50pm, and will return to Tashkent from Beijing.
There will be one flight between Uzbekistan and China per week on Wednesday in March, but two flights per week on Tuesday and Wednesday from April. It takes 6.5 hours for a one-way trip. The airline plans to use is a Boeing 767 or Airbus A310 for the transit.
