Hainan Airlines will spend RMB377 million to start a new low-priced airline, Shilin Airlines.

The new company will be jointly invested by Hainan Airlines, Shanxi Airlines, and Yunnan Shilin Airlines. The total capital involved is RMB771.58 million.

Hainan Airlines will control 48% of the total stock.

This new low-priced airline will lack free meals and there will be no business class on the flight.
