Dragonair will increase flights to six China Mainland cities in its summer schedule, which runs from March 27 until October 29, 2005.
Services to Shanghai and Beijing will increase, along with flights to Kunming, Chengdu, Chongqing and Changsha.
Flights to Shanghai will rise to 15 a day once the second runway at Pudong International Airport becomes operational, which is expected in May. Dragonair now operates 12 flights a day to Shanghai.
While Dragonair continues to operate eight flights a day to Beijing, under a recently signed codeshare agreement, the number of flights Dragonair passengers can take to the capital is effectively increased to 14 a day.
Other cities seeing rises include Chongqing, from three times a week to five, Chengdu, from seven times a week to 11 and 14 in July, Changsha from two times a week to three, and Kunming, from eight times a week to nine.
