Peter Chiu has been appointed as the new General Manager of Marco Polo Hotel Beijing.

Chiu is a Canadian citizen with more than 25 years hotel experience gained from various Canadian hotel groups, including Fours Seasons and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts.

He was previously GM of Marco Polo Davao of Philippines and also will oversee the up-and-coming new project, Marco Polo Dargon Lake, which is schedule to open 2006.
