Ma Da has been appointed Executive Sous Chef by Amara Chengdu to spearhead the Western kitchen and oversee the Sichuan cuisine and banqueting.

Ma Da's cooking experience started with Swissotel Beijing and he worked his way up to become Chef de Partie at the Kempinski Beijing. Prior to joining Amara Chengdu he was with the Cairnhill Hotel Tianjin as Western Chef. 

With a major in culinary arts from Hainan University, he will be focusing on the kitchens' reorganization.
