Roger Mair has been appointed General Manager of the new Sofitel Plaza Xiamen.

Joining Accor in 1996 in Sofitel Raja Orchid in Thailand, his most recent position was General Manager of Novotel Hefei in China. No stranger to China, Roger already spent three years at Shangri-La's China World Hotel in Beijing at its opening in 1990.
 
A native of Switzerland with 22 years Asian experience, Mair will have the task to position this latest jewel to the Sofitel crown as the market leader in Xiamen.
