Cendant's Howard Johnson recently signed a hotel management agreement with Busystar Real Estate Company to manage a hotel in Zhejiang province's Jiaxing, 98 kilometers from Shanghai.

The 55-story Howard Johnson Plaza Hotel, once completed, will be the tallest building in the province, as well as the first international 5-star hotel to enter the city. All 800 guest rooms will be on the 25th to 52nd floors, while the 53rd to 55th floors are for meeting, banquet and multi-function rooms. Offices and all other hotel facilities such as featured restaurants, business center, entertainment and fitness center are located on the 24th floor and below.

The hotel is centrally situated in Nanhu District, the political, economic and cultural center of Jiaxing, with close proximity to the railway station, long-haul bus station, as well as the municipal government buildings.
