Dr. Helmut Kohl, Former Chancellor of Germany, was welcomed by Mr. Matthias Kann, managing director of Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Centre, on June 21 during Kohl's visit to Beijing.

Kempinski Hotel is situated near the embassy and Chinese government areas.
