Janus Lee Chin Heng has been appointed as the General Manager of the new Le Méridien She Shan Shanghai. Heng's key focus is on strategic growth and pre-opening activities for the new and upcoming Le Méridien She Shan Shanghai scheduled to open in November 2005.

Heng, a Malaysian national, began his hospitality career in 1987 with an international hotel in Malaysia. He joined Gloria Resort Sanya in the People's Republic of China in 2002 and spent two years working in a General Manager position for the group.

His last posting prior to joining Le Méridien was as Director of Operations – Southern China for the Gloria International Hotels Group.
