The South Along (Hong Kong) Company has just spent RMB323.9 million to purchase a piece of land in Xiamen to build the largest yacht wharf in Asia.

Construction has begun this month at the Xiamen International Yacht Club Wharf, which is located in the eastside of Xiamen Island.

Under the plan, the construction work will be completed by February 7, 2009. By that time, it will be able to offer 610 berths. There will also be a five-star hotel, a shopping center, an office area and a walking pier along the water. All of these will occupy 7,021,098 square meters.
