The Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Tourism Bureau has announced that an agreement has been reached between the Beijing Haleyi Husbandry Development Company and the Wulan Butong Tourism Development Zone for investment in two travel projects on the Wulan Butong Prairie.

Under the agreement, Haleyi Husbandry will invest RMB237 million to construct Private Pasture and Prairie Home areas in the Wulan Butong area

The Private Pasture is an upscale travel area that will feature high-class accomodations on the grassland. The Prairie Home provides herdsman-family style hotels for tourists to experience the local flavor of the people living in Inner Mongolia. The Prairie Home area will also have cheaper accomodations.

The two projects are expected to be completed in 2006.
