Cooks from 67 leading hotels across China competed at the third China International Western Cooking Contest in Beijing. Novotel Xinqiao Beijing won the golden prizes for group performance and sugar decoration.

The appetizer silver prize and main course bronze prize also went to Novotel Xinqiao Beijing.

All the winners are from the hotel's Cuisine Galley French Restaurant.

More than 280 chefs demonstrate their skills in the three-day competition from September 15-17 2005.
