China United Airlines (CUA), which formally stopped its civil aviation service in November 2002, will resume its service on October 20.
CUA's Boeing 737, rented from its shareholder Shanghai Airlines, will fly on the Beijing-Wuxi line on October 20.
In addition, CUA has been approved to operate the following lines: Beijing-Dalian, Beijing-Harbin, Beijing-Hohot and Beijing-Chengdu.
CUA will be based at the Beijing Nanyuan Airport. CUA's shareholder Shanghai Airlines says CUA will become its Beijing-based airline servicing company.
CUA was an airline enterprise with a military background. It was launched in December 1986 with approval from the State Council and the Central Military Commission.
