The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has released a notice approving all domestic airlines to immediately adjust their fuel surcharges for their international routes.
Last week, Air China and China Southern separately published their plans regarding international route fuel fee increases.
CAAC's fuel fee increase standard shows the fuel fee from mainland China to destinations in Asia (except for the Middle East) will go up from current US$12 to US$25. Routes from China to destinations in Europe, the Americas, Australia and the Middle East will increase from US$20 to US$40.
