A five-star boutique art hotel, the first of its type in China, will soon appear near the Shanghai New International Exposition Center.

Zendai Group, a privately-owned enterprise specializing in security investments and real estate development in China has signed a three-party agreement with Arata Isozaki and Shanghai Xian Dai Architectural Design Group to jointly create the said hotel named Zendai Himalayas Art Center.

Zendai will invest RMB2 billion in the project, which totals over 160,000 in construction area. The construction will be commenced in April 2006 and completed in 2009.
