The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has released a document saying it will dramatically increase the flight landing and departure fee within China's aviation industry.

According to CAAC's document entitled Civil Airport Charges Reform Measures Proposal Collection Draft, after the adjustment, the average landing and departure fee of foreign airlines will decline by 20-30%, and that of the domestic airlines will be increased by about 70% for international lines and 15% for domestic lines.

It is expected that the revised document will be formally enacted in the first quarter of next year.
