The China National Tourism Administration has announced its theme for 2006: 2006 China Country Travel.

It has also published the slogan of next year's travel season: New Countryside, New Travel, New Experience and New Fashion.

The China National Tourism Administration has issued a circular to tourism departments at various levels, requiring them to carefully carry out the spirit of the new slogan and theme and to work out effective measures to promote rural tourism development.
