Spring Airlines, which has recently suffered monthly losses of up to RMB2 million, is going to shift its business focus in an effort to change its downward slide.

Spring Airlines says it will add business flights to Zhuhai, Tianjin and Xiamen when its third plane is delivered for use.

Wang Zhenghua, a head executive at Spring Airlines, says that the loss the company is suffering is mainly caused by the low-cost sales packages put together by the airlines' agents.

Spring Airline's statistics shows that by the end of 2005, the company had flown 1069 flights, carrying about 180,700 passengers, of which 45% were business groups.
