The first group of travel agency delegates from the mainland will set off to visit Taiwan today.

The delegate group consists of 30 members who have been invited by six tourism associations of Taiwan to have a 10-day visit. During the period, they will not only review the travel routes, scenic spots, hotels and service, but also visit several airlines companies there.

They will discuss for the first time with Taiwan tourism society on the feasibilities of launching direct line charter flights between the two sides.

Travel agencies estimate that in the initial period, travelers to Taiwan will mainly be organized in groups.
