Jinjiang Inn, the largest budget hotel chain in China, has opened in Chongqing.

A representative from the Chongqing Municipal Tourism Association says that Jinjiang Inn is the first budget hotel in Chongqing and it offers three-star service for a one-star price, which will bring new competition to the hospitality industry of the area.

At present, the occupancy rate of most of the budget hotels in China remains at 80%-85%. The high occupancy which brings high return is the main reason that more investors are willing to inject their funds into this field.
