Austrian Airlines has announced the appointment of Heinz Goetz as the new general manager of its China Region.

Goetz joined Austrian Airlines in 1977, and he has been taking management positions at the airlines for many years.

Before coming to China, he worked as general manager for Austrian Airlines in Hungary, starting in 2002.

After this appointment, Austrian Airlines will increase its flights from Vienna to Beijing and Shanghai to one flight per day from May 1 and June 1, respectively.
