Hong Kong Disneyland will issue tickets with specified dates in order to ensure all the ticket holders can enter the theme park during the upcoming May 1 holiday.
During the Lunar New Year holiday in January, Hong Kong Disneyland had to refuse entry to many guests because the park was already at its capacity. The tickets were open, and allowed entry on any day.
Hong Kong Disneyland says that between May 1 and May 6, only visitors who hold this kind of ticket will be allowed to enter the park.
Hong Kong Disneyland also adopted this practice during Easter this year.
With Hong Kong opening its travel to six more provincial capitals in the mainland, it is estimated that there will be 400,000 to 450,000 mainland tourists visiting to Hong Kong during May's Golden Week holiday this year.
