Singapore's Tiger Airways has started flights to Haikou, marking the start for this budget airlines to enter China's civil aviation market in Hainan Province.

China is the second largest tourist resource country for Singapore's travel industry. At present, there are only two airline companies in Haikou that have regular routes between Singapore and Haikou, so there is a great opportunity for Tiger Airways.
