Ctrip.com To Place Hotels Within Google's Service

Chinese travel website Ctrip.com has signed a deal to use Google.com's search engine to help Ctrip users find hotels around China.

Using Google's Chinese mapping engine at bendi.google.com, travelers will soon be able to find locations for over 3000 hotels in China.

Zou Hongyu, senior manager of Ctrip's marketing department, told local media that the launch of the hotel information service is the first step of its planned cooperation with Google.

We will expand the cooperation on information services in other fields such as air ticket booking and holiday destination guide, Zou said.

Ctrip.com now boasts a hotel room booking volume of 500,000 every month, making it the largest hotel booking agent in China. It owns service information for about 5,000 hotels, of which 3,000 are accessible via an online search.
