This week saw the roof sealing of China Central Place, the luxurious hotel complex in Beijing that is home to the two super luxury international hotels, The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott.
The two buildings for The Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriot occupy more than 130,000 square meters in space. They are designed by WATG as appointed by Marriott Hotels Group.
The Ritz-Carlton occupies a 14-storey building, offers 305 rooms and is attached with conference halls, Chinese restaurants, Italian restaurant, bar, SPA, clubs and a wedding hall.
JW Marriott occupies 20 floors of another building and has 591 rooms, a large banquet hall, conference room, Asian flavor restaurant, French restaurant, bar, swimming pool and fitness center.
The establishment of the two hotels is expected to improve Beijing's room capacity and standards in receiving international clients and hosting international conferences.
The decoration of these two hotels will be finished in July 2007, and will be formally opened in 2008 before the Beijing Olympic Games.
