Raffles Beijing Hotel has appointed nine new staff to various departments including sales and marketing, finance, and housekeeping.
Bernard Chong has been appointed to the position of Executive Assistant Manager. Chong has a wealth of experience in hotel pre-opening. He was part of the pre-opening team for Raffles Hotel Singapore, and also involved in the pre-openings of Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor and Raffles Hotel Le Royal in Cambodia.
Rosa Lei has just joined Raffles Beijing Hotel as the Director of Sales and Marketing. Rosa oversees the Sales and Marketing department. She had previously worked for established hotel brands like Hyatt, InterContinental and Shangri-La.
Eric Blomeyer is the new Director of Food and Beverage. Eric first joined Raffles in 1997 as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor, where he was part of the pre-opening team. He was the Food and Beverage Manager for Raffles Hotel Le Royal and Raffles The Plaza before arriving in Beijing.
Christian Hoffman has just joined Raffles Beijing Hotel as the Executive Chef. Christian has 25 years' culinary experience working in Switzerland, France, Singapore and China. Besides specializing in French cuisine, he is well versed in Japanese and Thai cuisines.
Vicky Loo has been appointed to the position of Financial Controller. Vicky was Assistant Financial Controller for Raffles International, Singapore. Before that, she also worked for Raffles Brown's Hotel in London and Swissotel Nai Lert Park in Bangkok.
Tina Luo has just joined Raffles Beijing Hotel as the Marketing Communications Manager. Tina has over 5 years' public relations experience working for Holiday Inn and the Shangri-La group in Beijing.
Ivan Lee is the hotel's new Executive Housekeeper. Ivan was previously Executive Housekeeper of Gran Melia Jakarta, Indonesia and Group Executive Housekeeper of Far East Organization, Singapore. Ivan was in the pre-opening team at Raffles Hotel Le Royal. Phnom Penh.
Chew Lian Le has just joined Raffles Beijing Hotel as the Director of Human Resources. Lian Le was previously Director of Human Resources for both Intercontinental Financial Street Beijing and Crown Plaza Park View Wuzhou Beijing, of which she was also involved in the pre-openings.
Guillaume Galliot will be the hotel's Chef De Cuisine, Jaan. Guillaume was Sous Chef de Cuisine for Raffles Grill at Raffles Hotel Singapore. He has 10 years' experience working in various renowned restaurants in France, New York and the Caribbean.
