Cathay Pacific Airways has obtained Hong Kong government approval to increase its fuel surcharges on passenger fares.
Hong Kong's Civil Aviation Department has allowed Cathay to charge HK$450 per ticket of each leg on long-haul flights starting next month.
The airline will also raise its fee on short-haul flights to HK$109 per leg from HK$90 currently.
