Three Domestic Airlines Brewing Fuel Surcharge Increase

Air China, China Eastern and China Southern have reached a mutual agreement on raising their fuel surcharges.

Earlier this month, China's National Development and Reform Commission announced a rise od the aviation fuel price by RMB500, making the price per ton of oil RMB5540.

The three airlines companies have already submitted their application for a higher fuel surcharge to NDRC. They expect that the price will be marked up by 60%.
