Carlson Hotels Worldwide in April added 12 locations to its global portfolio of brands. These include four Radisson and four Country Inns and Suites properties in the U.S.; one new Park Plaza hotel in the U.S.; a Radisson SAS property in Germany; and two Park Inn properties in Austria and the U.K.

Two of the four new Radisson-branded hotels in the U.S. are in Ft. Worth, TX. They are the 247-room Radisson Hotel Fort Worth North and the Radisson Hotel Ft. Worth South, featuring 188 guestrooms. They are owned by North and South Ft. Worth Hotel Ventures, LP.

Other new properties include the 246-room Radisson Hotel Chicago O'Hare in Des Plaines, IL, owned by Southern Exposure LP., and the 238-room Radisson Hotel Columbia and Conference Center in South Carolina, owned by Columbia Hotel and Conference Center, LLC.

The four new properties joining the Country Inns and Suites By Carlson brand include a 64-room property in Oxford, AL, owned by Dharti Hospitality, LLC; a 65-room hotel in Wilder, KY, owned by Bob Buten; a 57-room property in North Charleston, SC, owned by Rick Patel; and a 71-room hotel in El Dorado, AR, owned by Ila Patel.

The new Park Plaza property is located in Lancaster, PA. The 166-room hotel is owned by York Sherwood Associates, L.P.

The newest hotel in the Radisson SAS Hotels and Resorts portfolio is the Radisson SAS Hotel in Leipzig, Germany. The 214-room hotel was recently renovated and features 13 junior suites.

New Park Inn hotels include the 136-room Park Inn Uno City in Vienna, Austria and the 200-room Park Inn York in England. Both of these properties were added by Carlson's European partner, Rezidor SAS Hospitality.

The new additions bring Carlson's global portfolio to 932 hotels with 147,097 rooms in 70 countries. Carlson hotel brands also include Regent International Hotels.
