The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) announced on July 2 that the air transportation flood for the summer holiday has started and it is estimated that Chinese airlines will receive about 31 million passengers during this holiday.

The estimated passenger figure of this year is 18% more compared with the same period of last year.

CAAC says that there is more demand within the aviation market this year, however, the weather may influence the flights much more than before. Therefore, CAAC requires airline companies to strengthen safety checks on planes and control pilots' work hours in order to make sure that they can work efficiently.
