China Southern has announced new additions to its extensive flight network, including new daily service to Lhasa, Tibet.

China Southern's new daily flights from Guangzhou to Tibet, with a stopover in Shangri-La, will be through the current peak summer season.

China Southern Airlines Xinjiang Branch has inaugurated service between Urumqi and Astana, the capital city of Kazakhstan. This is the second route for China Southern from Urumqi to the Republic of Kazakhstan as the airline currently operates service between Urumqi and Almaty.

The airline has also recently launched an all-new Guangzhou-Manila service, adding another route to the Philippines from China's mainland from the current Beijing to Manila route (via Xiamen).

Finally, China Southern has expanded its Guangzhou-Los Angeles service to daily 777 operations, as well as daily service between Amsterdam and Guangzhou slated to begin in mid-August.
