With more large scale events being held in Sanya, the tropical Chinese island destination has seen a growth in demand for conferences, meetings and incentive groups.

On July 31, the first ever MICE organizers familiarization group from Singapore were invited to Sanya and the Marriott Resort & Spa to experience the destination and facilities first hand.

During their four-day stay, the resort provided a variety of activities including Team Building, a Bicycle Tour to the Local Village, Sanya Hunt and Spa Journey.

To create a memorable feeling for all these organizers, the food and beverage team specially prepared a farewell lunch in the main kitchen on the last day. Guests say they were impressed and gave high commendation on all the arrangements during their stay.

Sanya Marriott Resort & Spa, Marriott International's first resort in China, opened in July 2004. Since then, the hotel has accommodated more than 390 different sizes of meeting, conference, exhibition and incentive groups from the domestic and international market.
