Tiger Airways has been granted a 5-year permit to operate international services from the Philippines Civil Aeronautics Board.

"We are delighted to have now received confirmation and approval of our application. Tiger Airways is establishing a strong and long term association with Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) at Clark Field, offering more low fare travel to our customers," said Tiger Airways CEO, Tony Davis. "Passengers can now enjoy the benefits of low fares by booking ahead to secure their seats at fantastic low prices."

One way fares start from US$$9.98 for Clark-Macau and US$$11.98 for Singapore-Clark, excluding taxes. Bookings are available for travel up to March 24, 2007.

Tiger Airways has received strong demand for low fare travel in the Philippines since the airline's inaugural flight in April 2005. Due to the strong passenger demand, Tiger Airways increased flight services from just 3 flights per week one year ago to now offering 2 flights every day between Clark-Singapore and a daily flight between Clark-Macau.
