The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company will expand its presence in Jakarta with the opening in mid 2007 of The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Pacific Place, a 61-room boutique hotel strategically located in the heart of the city's commercial district.

This will be the third Ritz-Carlton property in Indonesia, joining The Ritz-Carlton, Jakarta and The Ritz-Carlton, Bali Resort & Spa.

As part of a mixed-use complex, including an 825,000 square-foot retail mall, 242,000 square feet of prime office space and two towers of residential condominiums, the development will also feature The Pacific Place Apartments, 139 luxury serviced apartments, which will also be managed by Ritz-Carlton.

The hotel, which will be linked by a pedestrian tunnel to the Jakarta Stock Exchange and other nearby office buildings. Hotel facilities will include spacious suites and The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge. All guests will enjoy access to dedicated concierge service and complimentary food and beverage presentations throughout the day.
