Days Inn China is moving fast and has signed 28 hotels in the last two years since it first entered the China market.
Out of these 28 hotels, eleven are Days Hotel & Suites (five star); eleven are Days Hotels (four star); and six are Days Inns (three star). Altogether there are more than 6,000 rooms.
In the past two months, Days Inn China has signed 4 hotels. They are respectively located in Zibo and Qingdao in the northern part of China, Chongqing in the southwest and Changde in Central China. All of them are five star Days Hotel & Suites.
Days Hotel & Suites Zibo Shandong is estimated to open at the end of 2007. It is located at Renmin West Avenue in Linzi district and offers 240 rooms with executive floors. It has 60 function rooms in various sizes, the biggest one more than 600 square meters.
Days Hotel & Suites Changde positions itself as a five-star business hotel and is located at Wuling Avenue, the commercial area in Changde's downtown. The hotel has 23 floors with 320 rooms, and the top two floors are occupied by a revolving restaurant. It also has two other restaurants serving Hunan and Cantonese cuisines. The hotel is equipped with one large function hall and two medium and small meeting rooms. It is estimated to open by middle of 2007.
Days Hotel & Suites Duoyuan Qingdao is estimated to open in the middle of 2008. It is located in the Qingdao Economic and Technical Development Zone. It has a shopping mall, office building, hotel, service apartments and private apartments all in one compound. The total ground area of the hotel part is 23,900 square meters and it has altogether 360 rooms. The facilities and building automation system are all up to five-star standards and it offers a butler service.
Chongqing Days Hotel and Suites is scheduled to open in the middle of 2007. It has 258 rooms and an extensive choice of dining outlets.
Days Inn China is now currently in negotiations with several other properties in Liaoning, Jilin, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Hainan for the opening of new facilities.
