China Travel Service has been approved to transfer 100% of its stake at China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited to HKCTS, which has enabled the latter to become the sole shareholder of China Travel (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited.

The share transfer also makes China Travel (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited a parallel enterprise with CTS, both under the control of the State Asset Management Commission.

A representative from CTS discloses that although China Travel (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited has not participated in the ranking of mainland travel companies, its strength has far surpassed that of CTS and CITS. And the breaking away of it from CTS will cause some changes to the domestic travel agencies.

China Travel (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited has already begun to realign its brand. For example, it has begun to adopt a unified logo for its travel buses and plans more changes in the coming months.
