United Airlines has launched a new one-stop service from Hong Kong to Washington D.C., via Tokyo.

"The Washington region has much to offer Hong Kong customers in terms of its political, business and cultural links," said Andrew Stephen, General Manager, Hong Kong, United Airlines. "Whether it is business or leisure travel, this new flight service will offer Hong Kong consumers convenient passage to Washington and to other destinations on the U.S. East coast."

Arriving mid-afternoon in Washington Dulles International Airport, United's East Coast hub, travelers have the choice of connections to 49 onward destinations via 137 flights on United, Ted and United Express.

To celebrate the new flight, Hong Kong customers who book a paid, qualifying roundtrip on the new service can earn up to 45,000 bonus miles between now and December 19, 2006, and January 11 and March 31, 2007. Bonus miles can be earned on a maximum of three round trips.
