JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai has welcomed its new Director of Food and Beverage, Rolf Buehlmann.

At 30 years old, Buehlmann joins the food and beverage team of the award-winning JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai from The Stanford Court Hotel, A Renaissance Hotel, San Francisco.

A Swiss native, Buehlmann began his hospitality career in Switzerland in 1993.

Buehlmann's new appointment at the JW Marriott Hotel Shanghai is his second venture to China. He was working in Xian in 2000 for a short period of time. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management of Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, Switzerland.
