Ai Zhaoyuan has been appointed to be both the Chairman and Executive Chairman of Shanghai HNA International Hotels & Resorts Management Company.

Ai is also appointed the General Manager of HNA Hainan New State Guesthouse.

Previously, Ai worked as Assistant to the General Manager of the Human Resources Department of Hainan Airlines, General Manager of  Kangle Garden HNA Resort Hainan, Director of Training Center and Manager of Marketing Department of HNA Hotel Group, Deputy General Manager and General Manager of HNA Hotel Group during the years from 1993 to 2006.

Ai had worked for Guizhou Bureau of CAAC and Chengdou Shuangliu Airport before he joined HNA Group. Ai is one of the founders of HNA Hotel Group.
