Oakwood Apartments Beijing has two new executive staff, as it prepares for its opening in the second quarter of 2007.
Neil Harvey has been appointed as General Manager of Oakwood Apartments Beijing. Based on site in Beijing, Harvey is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of the property as well as overseeing staff in areas of human resource, finance, sales and marketing. Harvey has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and was previously the General Manager at Oakwood Premier Coex Center in Seoul, Korea where he was responsible for opening the property in 2001. Harvey has worked with Hilton International, the Mandarin Oriental Group, Meritus Hotels and Resorts, Swiss Hotel, Swiss Belhotel and CCA in places like Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Dorrothy Kam is the new Director of Sales and Marketing. In her role as Director of Sales and Marketing, Kam will oversee the direct sales and client relations in this market. A hospitality industry professional for the past 20 years, Kam's portfolio includes being involved in five hotel pre-openings, as well as a career that has seen her working in Malaysia, Vietnam and China.
