Hainan Airlines has launched special, limited time 90% discount air tickets for its three lines departing from Chongqing, and this has caused dissatisfaction among other airlines.

A representative from one of airlines companies said the discounted air tickets is a clear case of dumping, and they already submitted their complaint to the CAAC Southwest Management Bureau. Also these airline companies are asking their tickets agencies not to sell Hainan Airlines' tickets.

By January 10, all the 90% discount flight tickets for Hainan Airlines had been sold out, but because they also launched unlimited 80% discount tickets for the same three lines, there is still a long queue each day at their ticket sales office.

A representative from CAAC Chongqing Office said that there isn't a clear rule to follow in dealing with this situation. He said that both the behaviors of Hainan Airlines and other airlines companies are not good, because this will ultimately make passengers suffer.

The headquarters of Hainan Airlines has already sent its representative to Chongqing to negotiate with other airlines companies about solving this problem.
