China Southern Airlines has started direct flights twice weekly between Kathmandu, Nepal and Guangzhou.

China Southern Airlines will be operating this service every Monday and Friday from the new Guangzhou International Airport and Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. The service will be offered with a Boeing 757-200.

Tribhuvan International Airport, situated 5.56 km east of Kathmandu City is in the heart of the Kathmandu Valley. TIA is amid the confluence of three ancient cities: Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan.
