Zhang Chunzhi, spokesperson from Air China, says that Air China's integration of the former sales network of both Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair in mainland China would be completed in June 2007.

zhang said the management adjustment in the mainland market have been basically finished, and now only some small adjustments need to be made.

According to the agreement reached last year, Air China will be solely responsible for Cathay Pacific (including Dragonair's) passenger flight sales in the mainland Chinese domestic market and the latter shall be responsible for Air China's passenger flight sales in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Zhang said that starting from the second half of last year, Air China has been recalling its salespeople from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and Cathay Pacific has been calling back its sales staff from mainland China. With the work done, all Cathay Pacific's sales sites in mainland China will be included in Air China's management by the end of June 2007.

Air China will run 30706 flights during this year's Spring Festival, an increase of 13% over that of the same period of last year. Zhang said that the heavy routes during the festival will include those to Hong Kong, Sidney and Bangkok for international lines, and Chengdu, Xiamen, Haikou and Sanya for domestic lines.
